Ferro Pfanstiehl was notably the first company to become SafeBridge certified. The company was founded on its carbohydrate expertise and continues to be a leader in the specialty carbohydrates and lactate solutions for pharmaceutical and personal care applications. FPL produces proprietary and cGMP pharmaceutical ingredients with an emphasis on high-purity, low endotoxin products. In addition, the Sodium and potassium lactate solutions are used in large volume parenteral solutions.
